Ears are the explorers and scouts of The Hive. Unlike other member they tend not to have specific missions assigned to them, instead they just have a generic order of “Discover”. That said they still can occasionally be found on missions. They are deceptively agile.

Pick 1 at random: Speed Defense as level 4, Movement range of Long, Senses its environment (Sees, smells, hears) as level 4, Runs, jumps, and balances as level 4.
Ear’s are not fighters, if forced into a fight they try to debilitate their enemy long enough to run away (aiming for the eyes, groin, neck, etc.).
Their job is to go to places people haven’t been, to see and experience new things. This means they rarely run into other people. On the off chance they do run into someone else and you share the same goal they may be open to a temporary alliance.
Ears are a great way to tease something greater is happening. Perhaps your group catches a glimpse of one following you, or they see one darting into the pyramid they’re about to explore.
They usually have 1d6 cyphers and oddities, as well as climbing/exploring gear.
